ID Classic
The essential thought of the ID Classic inventor was to ideally combine "width and depth effects" in the target. This was achieved by bonding two different hard lead cores: The front soft part protrudes like a plug into the rear harder and heavier part. This lead "marriage" is enclosed by a jacket of mild steel which gradually thickens towards the rear. The torpedo tail, with a third larger base area, improves external ballistic behaviour with its higher flight stability. The rear core of the ID Classic projectile is structured to mushroom and transfer energy to the game. This projectile is therefore particularly suitable for cloven game of light to medium weight.
THE SPECIAL QUALITIES AT A GLANCE:
- The sharp rim punches a clear circular entry hole and provides the desired hair at impact location
- The front core bursts and releases limited fragments
- The harder rear core mushrooms with the funnel shaped recess and generally provides for the desired exit hole
- The tail groove limits the tearing away of the jacket flares
- Harder tail core
- Softer tip core
- Torpedo tail
- Tail groove
- Sharp rim
- Nickel-plated steel jacket
