Dumoulin offers barrels assembled by two methods; the proprietary cruciform cradle, and double chopper lump. Dumoulin's cruciform cradle allows very precise joining of the barrels, and further preserves the hardening of the barrels through their entire length from breach to muzzle. Preserving barrel integrity maintains the highest strength, minimizes brittleness, allowing the most precise broached rifling. Dumoulin's double rifles using the cruciform cradle routinely turn in incredible accuracy, easily capable of 1.5 inch four shot (2L,2R) groups at 60 meters.
